TRADITIONAL ACOUSTIC COUNTRY

Lee and Elaine Roy (brother & sister) sing together beautifully and write catchy songs in a traditional style about hope, memories, family, and faith. This ground is well covered, but the Roys authentic and simple style is attractive and moving. RIYL Ricky Skaggs, etc.

No FCC issues.

1 ** Mid-fast. Up beat, happy, hopeful song. Good mandolin & fiddle. Wonderful! (3:06)
2 Slow ballad. A too sentimental remembrance of dear old daddy at his funeral. (4:24)
3 * Fast. Female lead, male harmony. Banjo, guitar, fiddle breakdown. Energetic. (2:37)
4 * Mid-tempo. Beautiful male lead, female harmony. Looking back on a good life. (3:35)
5 Slow ballad. A too sentimental remembrance of grandpa at his funeral. (4:01)
6 ** Mid-tempo. Female lead vox. Touching. Imagine Allison Kraus singing this. (3:26)
7 * Mid-fast. On-the-road metaphor of life passing by. Good pedal steel & fiddle. (3:05)
