Sublime vocals throughout and inventive arrangements of classic songs, most
of them successful. Rootsy bluegrass where the vocal numbers are generally
more successful than the instrumentals.
1 – (4:08) Little Maggie* Moody, mid-tempo version, cool vocal stylings.
2 – (3:00) Underneath The Stars Pretty vocals, decent.
3 – (4:26) Blackberry Shortcake OK riff on fiddle tune Blackberry Blossom.
4 – (2:40) Never My Love* Good bluegrassy rendition of this oldie.
5 – (3:13) Lamp In The Window* Up-tempo Fran Kent original, catchy.
6 – (2:53) Big Mon* Up-tempo fiddle & banjo instrumental, pretty good.
7 – (4:28) Hole In My Heart* Sweet & sad love ballad, nice vocals again.
8 – (3:53) Salt Creek Just OK version of the fiddle tune.
9 – (3:56) Blue Moon Of Kentucky* Slow intro then mid, pretty version.
10 – (2:58) Appaloosa Daydream* Best instrumental track on the album.
