Fuck me, what a great album. Don’t be misled by the album’s title, for it’s neither strictly R’n’R nor Blues, really. Sure, it’s got both, yet goes far beyond or inside both. As Dickinson stated it’s ‘folk punk country blues’. Whatever it is, it KILLS. Lyrically, very personal - about the R’n’R life, and life in general. And it’s all acoustic. Luther on gtr, Amy LaVere on upright bass, Sharde Thomas on drums and fife (#5), Lightnin’ Malcolm on drums. For fans of Wilco, Taj Mahal, Beck, some punk, some country, some some some......FCC #8.

*My Favorites*: Every one.

1. (2:53) Mid. Thumpin’ beat w/ Attitude. Abrupt ending.
2. (3:19) Mid. Upbeat, great lyrics, back vcls.
3. (3:07) Mid. Back porch flair, Taj Mahal vibe.
4. (3:18) Mid. A bit ominous, leavin’ R’N’R for country.
5. (5:18) Mid. GREAT VIBE!!! Mojo Nixon tribute? w/ fife !!!!
6. (2:47) Mid. Title track. Kind of a Beck vibe, very cool.
7. (2:44) Mid. Heavy bass drum, travails of a band, catchy.
8. (4:16) Mid. FCC ‘fuckin’. Easy going.
9. (3:20) Mid. Big bass drum, mellow.
10. (3:30) Mid. Beautiful easy rollin’ meditation.
