Can’t imagine this being the UK band “Sleeper” – This release is however, a laid back light drone marathon. Captivating sounds for any time of the day & night. I believe they are from New Zealand.
Easy to fade in / out if the times are too long – Don’t miss the beginning of track 1 or the end of track 2 though.
Great addition to KZSU.
No FCC’s (no vocals)
1) Slumber / Timeless Time (16.45) Such a delicate intro: A track devoted to that sound would have been perfect. - Then wave upon wave of droney, echoey loveliness. It goes on in the same vain pretty much throughout. Does sound distorted at times – Which does gives it a certain amount of warmth & character. Like Pegasus floating up in the sky…
2) Edge Of Darkness / Creeper (15.58) More somber sounding than the previous track. This one evokes a darker gloomier image. It still keeps the tranquil nature alive – Just. Repetitive gloom (In a good way), that will make you want to hear it all over again. Changes up for the final minute – Excellent mellow sounding lament.
