Old Man Canyon is a new band from Vancouver. This is their debut EP released for free on Bandcamp. Indie-folk sounds. Simple lyrics and catchy melodies with strings and piano to accompany. All five songs have a similar feel, which gets it stuck in a mood. RIYL Mumford and Sons, The Lumineers, The Broken Bells, and The Head and The Heart.
Recommended: 1, 3
1. (3:52) - Their hit song. Welcoming and feel-good sounds. Up-tempo, indie-rock with a catchy chorus.
2. (3:53) - Reminds me of The High Road by The Broken Bells
3. (3:03) - As the title would suggest, I imagine listening to this song, driving down a long road. Banjo comes in. Catchy chorus.
4. (3:27) - Slows it down for this track. Nostalgic vibes. Violin and piano.
5. (3:15) - Sad, but sweet melody. Still upbeat though with familiar sounds of track 4 with the violin.
