Somewhat of a different spin on a typical jazz album. Definite jazz elements with a kind of spunky feel to it. Very cool stuff. Lots of elements show off French musical influence. Makes sense since I’m pretty sure the guy is French just from his name. Anyways, I like this album. You can imagine yourself walking down a street or sipping coffee in a café in Paris while listening to this.
1. (2:01) Cool clarinet work with a rock band drum beat.
2. (2:42) Has sort of a French animated series sound to it.
3. (3:05) Sounds like two clarinet cats chasing each other. Soft instrument play.
4. (5:06) Sounds like a gloomy, rainy day in France.
5. (4:04) Very slick, very sly jazzy sound with the clarinet and drums.
6. (3:04) A little faster beat. Drum work is a little more rock and roll in this one.
7. (2:24) Single clarinet plays around, exploring the space a little.
8. (1:42) Starts off a little dark and then becomes sort of a mystery show song.
9. (2:00) Another happy tune you might hear at a carnival.
10. (1:57) This one has a latin dance style to its percussion. Nice song to tango to.
11. (4:45) Squeaky brass instrument breaks the silence. Not very melodic.
12. (2:52) Slow and dark. Puts a downer on you again.
13. (1:48) Then the mood picks up again. Happy jazz clarinet.
14. (2:42) Similar to the first track. Cool jazz instruments with a rock like drum beat.
